The joy of being in teaching is that I am always at the front of the line with new technologies. We are the ones planning for our children's futures, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in the unknown world.
I was lucky to attend a conference recently with the Miles Berry who showed us some fabulous ways to use code to enhance children's understanding of the world and to ultimately improve their outcomes.
You can see that some of these codes are more complex, but they still offer our students a wonderful insight into the world around them.
If you haven't already tried coding in your classroom, you should try. The examples I have here are linked to music and art. Not simply to computing!
