Understand what you're doing wrong and how to get more attention to your steemit posts. We all want our opinion heard and extra cash. This is how a minnow can be successful.
First of all, let's see why you're unsucessful.
The reasons you are failing are likely because:
- You have horrible marketing skills and your content has zero focus. Which is okay, because you're new, but you have to learn and expand.
- Your vote is minimal and unnatractive, your content feels random, and it feels like I'd get overall better quality if I just opened up any other site. Time to give your posts some identity.
I'll tell you why you should trust me and keep reading.
is my main account. Check it out. My friend created
but he's too busy to post, so he gave it to me, and I've started using it for english content.
I joined last year, but I've only really started posting 2 months ago. I have 400+ followers and my posts regularly get 10+ non-bot votes on every post, some of them worth over $0.05. Over time I invested around 40 dollars on steemit. My account is worth more than that. You can check details at http://steem.supply/@felipejoys.
Tackling steemit as the social platform it is was crucial to the beginning of my success. Both personal and professional marketing help. All sources of growth are important.
Finally, my suggestions.
Socializing
- You welcome new steemians often, but do you stick to them, commenting and voting every now and then, showing companionship and support, so you can inspire them to do the same to you?
- Do you reach out to others in whatever you can, including but not limited to facebook groups and pages, discord servers, onsite chat, etc? PAL is a great discord to start with
- Have you invited other people to join you and help each other out?
- Do you get your posts resteemed?
Content generation
- What do others get for following you? Is it going to be good for their feed? Can your posts catter to a group of people so you can get them to stay for more?
- How reliable are your articles? If you make a statement over something, where did that come from? If you "heard" about it, what's the source? With so many fake news out there, you must understand it's now "links or it didn't happen" for anyone who wants to take it seriously.
- Would you follow yourself for the content you're making? If not, keep trying until you're proud.
- Are you well familiarized with markdown in your posts? Looks matter. Markdown Cheatsheet
Bot votes
- These are very important for visibility, but if you can't get to the trending page for over 5 minutes on a popular enough tag of your choice, it's not worth using it for this.
- You can still profit by buying votes with whatever 0.01 sbd you may have. Every bit counts. You usually get your $ back and some extra as Steem Power.
- Do you dislike vote buying? You have to grow out of being nobody to cause any real effect on steem, so you should become somebody who can do something about it first.
- The best sites to get your $ back are minnowbooster and smartsteem.
I hope any of this helps. Grow, expand and carry on.
