Too many people confuse Steem, Steemit, Steem Power & Steem Dollars so it is time that someone explains again what the differences are.

Steem
Steem is the blockchain technology and it also a cryptocurrency.
You can convert the Steem currency to Steem power, trade it for other Cryptocurrencies, sell it or buy more of it.
Steemit
Steemit is the website here! Steemit is not a cryptocurrency.
Steemit is this website where you are all posting your comments and articles on.
Steem Power
You can buy Steem Power, you can buy delegations (rented Steem Power) and it is used to upvote things.
You get Steem Power for all your comments and posts that have received upvotes.
Steem Dollars
Steem Dollars is the second cryptocurrency which you can trade for other cryptocurrencies, buy more of or sell.
Unlike Steem you also get Steem Dollars for every comment and post that has received an upvote.
