Well I know most of you are already-steady STEEM rolling and you're awesome for that! Thanks to you all for being the inspiration..💗
Thanks all who welcomed me back yesterday 🙏 I appreciate scrolling your feeds and reading about what you've been up to.
I been up to delivering pedal-powered love packages all over Chiang Mai LOL! 🚴♻️💚💨
I had a couple comments from others who just like me have been less than active lately. You were the first thing on my mind this morning, hence the topic of today. Let's keep on encouraging each other, sharing is caring and as each one reaches one, more will follow! ✊
Firstly thanks to a few special ones for helping me find my groove again. @Iamjamie always gives me writing confidence and gracefully nudges me towards sharing my thoughts. @Artemislives has been at my heels too, like a sergeant major urging me to do more while she holds the fort at with

and others.

Most recently thanks to our unsuspecting hero for organizing the Steem meet-up in Chiang Mai over the weekend. There I met a new friend
, the wonderful being behind the #openmic project. My take home was a reminder of that good ol' saying from the MSP days..
"Come for the Crypto, Stay for the Community!"
Yep it's the community, the real people and the real friendships that I cherish the most about Steemit. We are the true value of the platforms we populate. Perhaps others are only just waking up to that now? No worries, the old paradigm is unraveling all in good time.
What we can do is be the example of a way that works for all. A gifting community backed by a fast, secure and decentralized blockchain. We as Steemians are the immutable example way ahead of the corporate-censored crowds.
The attention economy has been exposed..
We are the reward model and we may as well get pretty! 💅
The common connection with those mentioned above is the . I've gotten to know and feel connected to each of them through this small but tight-nit group. It's through these friendships that I've been able to keep a eye on the evolution of Steemit and all the incredible new dapps. It's thanks to them I'm still here feeling optimistic about solutions for sovereignty and self-sustainability.
Thanks Luzcypher for a entertaining evening full of STEEMy inspiration! Here's his blog..
One of the main conversations in recently has been to create some kind of scholarship, sponsorship or one-to-one mentorship program for newbies. I'm not really sure how that's going to take shape since we're a very diverse collective, many of us oldies are wildly free-thinkers! 😝 Though that's the paradox of forming groups in the vast context of decentralization, it's supposed to be fun isn't it?
"Steemit is such a colorful place to be, yet increasingly challenging to organize and still increasingly daunting for new comers."
Creating purposeful group goals while so much freedom is being expressed in different directions is liberating, yet can leave some of us feel depleted, posting a lonely desert. Especially when so many of us are "busy" creating our own things right? That's the magic of community though, a place for common-unity and support for each other.. no matter what we're individually into.
Support like this in our comment-chain give me a welcome boost! Check out Karin's blog..
So if you'd like to discuss ideas like this, stop by and feel us out. Our discord is a humble place, a dusty saloon open all hours for wanderers to post questions or read through archives 📚 There's an ever growing resource library with links to other Steem related servers.
Most importantly there are some friendly regulars to hang with. Steemians who each in their own right are succeeding in staking their place in Steem.
Hello from little man and the bar crew, just about to hang and the only way is UP! 💪
Some communities may feel very busy and overwhelming for newbies, not ours! There are opportunities to join our voting list, comment-chain and get involved in the curation digest if you wish. There's also 21 core members that discuss ways to grow and promote mutual support. Though if you just want to stop in and say hello 👋 That's good too.
Ok that's all for today. I'm doing my best to overcome my inconsistency by reminding myself: It's not always what you do, it's how often you do it. Little and often, see you tomorrow!
(Setting the intention again lol!)
