Hello all, this is my mtb ride from this afternoon at Rancho San Vicente. It was a cool and breezy 57*f which I prefer to a hot day. The shot below is Calero reservoir. I took a similar shot 2 weeks ago on a sunny morning.
The ride was 17 miles and 900 feet of climbing.
GPS data is from a Garmin Vivoactive HR uploaded to Strava
On the way, there is a cow pasture. This guy was probably thinking 'what is this human doing?'
Here is a shot of the trail system, pretty much a double track in width.
Calero reservoir in the background. Everything is so green right now, but that will change in a month or so.
Looking towards San Jose from the south (Almaden valley)
Before I left, my neighbor had a row of rose bushes, so I snapped a shot of a white/pink one which was in full bloom.
Happy Wednesday!
