Hello fellow steemians,
I will be closing the thirteenth weekly contest of my 7 World's Continents Photo Challenge by announcing the winner of the weekly round on Monday. The winner is voted by you based on the upvotes from the individual continents winner announcements. The winner of the weekly round receives 15 SBD from me and then enters into a monthly and possibly yearly challenge to compete for 150 SBD in total. So far I have given out 300 SBD to the weekly and monthly winners and some $1600 worth of upvotes to winning participants. Now you have a chance to determine who will the winner be over the next two days by upvoting the below winner announcements. The competition is heating up and I am getting excited to see which image will be the winning one. The choice is yours:).....
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #13 - winner announcement!
Many weeks in the Sunday Asian contest, I see photos from Hong Kong so today I decided to submit my own. It really is such a photogenic city. And if you haven't been, the best place to go at night for an incredible view of the city is Victoria Peak. It's definitely busy and filled with other people trying to take photos, but it's totally worth the effort to get a shot like this.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #13 – winner announcement!
Please consider my photo of the perfect storm that passed over Sydney Harbour Bridge last Thursday night, the atmosphere it created was incredible and this shot was taken after the third time I had convinced myself to leave! Great competition thank you for your consideration.
Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
So lets continue the ICE AGE theme. Another shot from the frozen coastline at Baltic sea near Klaipeda, Lithuania. This shot is taken early in the cold winter morning (after certain period of very negative temperature, when even seacoast starts to get frozen) Lower point of view (if remember right even without i tripod, camera was just laying on the ground, as well as me... actually) makes this piece of ice really stand out.
Enjoy the scenery!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #13 – winner announcement!
Some people think Africa is flat with a single big mountain called Kilimanjaro. I can assure you that is not true. Here in South Africa we have magnificent mountains and if you run/hike on them at the right time, you'll find a piece of heaven on earth!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – European Thursday week #13 – winner announcement!
In Austria there are a lot of lakes surrounded by mountains and forests. So it is paradise for those who like hills and skiing. This is one of them - amazing Attersee. The picture was shot a few years ago.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – North American Friday week #13 – winner announcement!
On Top of the World - One World Trade Centre
It's a very unique feeling standing on top of Manhattan, 102 floors up, in the tallest building in the Western hemisphere and sixth tallest in the world! You get the feeling that everything is possible... it's New York!
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – South American Saturday week #13 – winner announcement!
View of the Caribbean Sea right after the entrance to the Cahuita National Park, Costa Rica. The park is small (you can walk it back and forth in a few hours) but the variety of wildlife you will encounter on the trail is just astonishing. We saw monkeys, sloths, toucans, raccoons and much more. Highly recommended :) Photo taken in September 2017.
