This photograph was taken on a hike to one of the highest pass in the Canadian Rockies, Abbot Pass at an altitude of 2925 metres (9,598 feet), and can only be accessed through some of the most spectacular, if not the very best, hikes available in Canada.
By opposition with my first entry, the light is faded by the mid-summer mist and the arrival of a light rain darkening the rocks and the otherwise extreme vivid colours of Oesa Lake, in Yoho National Park. The greens come from both old lichen patches on the granitic moraine as well as from the moss the hangs for its life at this altitude. From here and using a powerful zoom, I could take a direct shot of my brother-like friend Sylvain Bedard coming back from his "record setting" climb up and down the pass.

Namaste :)
