Day 36 of 100 for 's Poetry Challenge
Offcuts and Imperfections
The words
were not quite right
constructing a sentence
so out of place,
punctuation
left waiting
for so much more.
A puddle
of wasted perfection
left melting
on the floor
when he could have been,
should have been
so much more.
Offcuts
scraped up
from the factory floor
taped together
with a willingness
to dream
for so much more.
A new story
written on the tapestry
of strength
born from the melted pool
of an imperfection
that believed
in so much more.
