COMPLETENESS
Beautiful berries of your tenderness
juicy fruits that you regale me
as lavish and beautiful fronds
from the woods and the thicket
From every shipwreck you rise unscathed
like fish do, like birds do
like the breeze pushing ships
your soul clear as if made of doilies
Chosen luck, chance and will
living proof of blessings
humble, simple and unpretentious
you drive all my powers at will
Filling to the brim the wine cellars
with your contagious laughter
Filling to the brim the wine cellars
with your liveness
Filling wine glasses to the brim
already redeemed
Filling lives to the brim
like a tributary
You flow, you pour, you spill
reservoirs full, surplus of love and kisses
the surplus of my rapture splashes
and shines on the bed
I wake up and I touch and there is abundance
I see and my eyes are filled with you
like windows they pluck your honey petals
like windows my thirst is pouring
Don’t ever leave me, my coy muse
Don’t ever leave me, abandon me not
for I cross colds oceans for you
for I dream foggy illusions for you
but rather splurge and squander
but rather inhabit all my rooms
but rather make the twigs that I pruned
sprout again
but rather pamper my hardened rafter
