This post might not necessarily be because of the money involved but because of the excess joy I get each time I look at the value steemit has added to my life and I know someone somewhere will be inspired to define his or her moments after reading my story.

The preamble

This challenge reminds me of how I got to join steemit and how I had to write about the amazing adjustments that have happened to me since I joined steemit which was organized by Hive account@surpassinggoogle. I was exceptionally grateful writing that post.

Although with mixed feelings my story is rather an exceptional one as I had a very tough and rough time in almost all facets before I joined steemit, but there has been a great turn around since I joined this great platform; that is why I remain grateful to Hive account@nexrules for introducing me and for me accepting to embrace steemit.

How steemit has changed my life

I can't stop smiling at this point in time because this is the part that gives me the most joy. Yeah I mean how steemit changed my life.
Steemit has changed my life in ways I can't fathom and I'm going to say it in bits:

Life communication **
The ability and willingness to communicate effectively is the most important of all life skills and this is a great factor that I have gained from steemit.
I've had the privilege to meet with renowned persons here on steemit especially during the official launching of the Uyo steem accelerator hub and had a one on one discussion with them. The likes of Hive account@ejemai, Hive account@destinysaid, Hive account@gbenga, Hive account@samstickkz, Hive account@nairadaddy, Hive account@emmexdee and so many others. Steemit has contributed so much in my social life.

Being a part of this family has helped my communication skills in many ways.

Financial communication
I need not overemphasize at this point because a lot of us have had that intense feeling of joy when we claim rewards at the end of the seventh day of our post and I had that feelings when I had my first cash out, believe me the feeling was intensed and I had to make a post on it, that post was to reach out to anyone who was already discouraged and probably ready to give up on steemit, it was a come back call and I want to believe that I was able to reach out to someone through that post.
Tears dropped when I had to cash out and there I could remember Hive account@surpassinggoogle's word which I love so much ***Tears come from a place of intense love, care, hope, growth. Tears aren't some sad fluid ***This simply tells, those fluids doesn't just flow when you're sad, we all could shed it for steemit in one way or the other.

**Business communication **
Steemit has helped me to build and decorate a world of my own, steemit has made a lot of people all over the universe to be self employed, independent and creative, it brings out the best out of everyone and I am not exclusive.
As a student, steemit has become part of me, although it isn't easy to multitask but steemit has taught me a lot about this. Steemit has become a business of its own to me and I have learnt a lot from all the posts and comments made.

Educational communication
I am an Engineering student and I chose that profession in order to escape a lot of reading as I tend to love calculations more. But when I signed up on steemit, I realized that some posts can take 15-20 minutes to read then to be able to make good comments and upvote, I have to take it upon myself to read it and this has made reading courses in school a lot easier as I can read for long.

Time factor is another essential value that has change in my life since I joined steemit, steemit has helped me manage my time as I have to multitask between schooling and steeming.
A lot has changed in my life since I joined this great platform. I have my own personal achievements by being independent without having to depend on family and friends for upkeep instead I help a lot who are in need and also introduce and encourage them to take steemit as a business of their own.

Steemit has helped me in meeting new people, learning from people all over especially in the Uyo steemit community where I belong and I must say steemit is adventurous item* as it was a new discovery to me, until now I wasn't a type that paid attention to stuffs like Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and others but all thanks to steemit for the changes and new discoveries.
I wasn't the type that likes to write a lot or do more of reading but there's a lot of improvements in all of this aspect of my life.
I could go on and on as the changes are massive.

Shout out

My shout out goes to most of us who have been in this platform for months and yet to see the changes.
I am going to put it in Hive account@nexrules words in his latest post my underdog story because his message went a long way and got me thinking.

Are you going to wilt in the face of challenge? I say NO because we have all come too far to look back already. With determination, consistency, hard work and the urge to improve on ourselves, we will surely make it, for where there is a will, there is a way
