The New/Dark Moon in Aries, April 15th 2018

Before I get into the magical mooniness arriving tomorrow, I wanted to mention that there's a new Steemit Witchcraft group in town! Well, kind of - at this moment, it's very bare bones, but Hive account@steemitwitchery is officially now a thing!

Now, for the witchiness at hand - tomorrow is the New/Dark moon in Aries. Yes, that's an awkward way of saying it. I have a whole big explanation about why I say New/Dark on my WordPress blog, but suffice to say - I prefer "Dark" because the moon is completely hidden. For me, "New" refers to that moment that the tiniest crescent is visible, which brings about a different energy. However, everyone has their own way of defining it in their magical practice, so use witchever... I mean, whichever term feels right to you.

I have a couple of Dark Moon spells I've put together over the years, and since I plan to utilize this one tomorrow, I figured I'd share it here as well (Note to our Steemit kitty mascot - this first appeared on my WordPress blog Dark Moon Release Spell )

Last but not least, here's an infographic I created for the occasion, using one of my shots of the Full Wolf Moon in January, darkened with a filter, since it's tough to snap shots of something that's "invisible against the backdrop of the Sun in the sky."
