The past few weeks have been amazing, we are impressed with the response we are receiving from newbies and the feedback we are receiving from our members. Big thanks to everyone involved with us and in support our vision, its great to see our efforts being rewarded.
Introducing SteemIt and cryptocurrency as a whole is very technical, choice of words is very important. Like everything else, cryptocurrency is two sided, has both positive and negative impacts, introducing Steem as an all positive Future-Changing too will merely cause more FUD amongst the new recruits and make them leave almost as early as they came in.
We need to be plain on what Cryptocurrency can and cannot do for them.
THE RIGHT WAY
There's actually no right textbook way of spreading the steemIt gospel, just start facts backed up with numbers.
We actually encourage our members to be situational and used their initiative when spreading Steemit.
People are different, have different knowledge levels of knowledge about cryptocurrency, are receptive to new ideas at different levels, have different levels of education. For this reasons and more, crypto knowledge should be served in each individual's own language and dosage.
COMBATING THE NEGATIVE IMPACTS
We cant lie, cryptocurrency is great, it has helped a lot of us in various ways, financially, creatively and taken a lot off the streets and empowered a lot more, but then all coins have both head and tails. A major concern is the frequent use of cryptocurrencies in cybercrimes due to its almost impossible untracebility, a perfect example is the virus invasion last year where bitcoin was the ransom currency.
Like every other technology, crypto coins both have negative and positive impacts.
Take cars for example best thing that happened to transportation after the airplane, gets you where you need to be quickly and very affordable by most people but cars burn fuels producing dangerous gases which is believed to be responsible for depletion of the ozone layer. Shutting down cryptos because of such baseless reasons is simply unreasonable, it clearly reflects the incompetency of the authorities, issues like this usually leads to advancement, brainstorming new ideas leading to technological advancements and innovations instead of showing off powers shamelessly by trying to shut down cryptocurrencies with rules and regulations.
The authorities simply need to evolve just like the money did.
Cars cause so much pollution and contribute significantly to depletion of the ozone layer, but we can't just forget about cars and its good just because of that, can we? So new cars that uses other fuels e.g electricity other than petrol are being produced. Trying to combat the negative impact of cars, technology has advanced, new companies have been compared, more jobs provided and more wealth generated simply by trying to solve a problem.
So any authority that refuses to use the negative impact of cryptos to its benefit rather but rather tries to shut it down is simply not innovative.
VOLATILITY
We all have much power than we know.
Just like in the real market, prices are affected by supply and demand. Using your coin just as you would use your physical cash helps create and maintain stability. The rate of transfer, hoarding and sell offs plays roles in volatility too, not just the foreign rules.
Since I joined steemit I've been starting steem and steem dollars as form of payments.
WHY START WITH STEEMIT
Its too not start to start over again.
SteemIt offers second chances, you don't have to be a billionaire to do this.
Regardless of your net worth, you can start from ground level and make it big. The Steem blockchain rewards users with tokens which can be exchanged for fiat currency and other coins.
This is just a guideline that doesn't have to be followed, but reading this through can inspired you in the right way. Feel free to comment your thoughts and suggestions.
HAPPY STEEMING.
THANKS FOR READING THROUGH.
