Greetings members of Steemjet Spaceforce community. This is Lordjames speaking in the words of SF1 members.
It is three days since the Steemjet community was officially launched and in that three days members of Spaceforce1 have been communicating seriously on developing a roadmap for the community. We've come to a conclusion that a physical meeting of a number of Spaceforce members would allow us to deliberate on these matters and arrive at something tangible for the rest of the team.
From the information received from the Hr database, we now know that over 50 percent of the Spaceforce members reside in southern Nigeria including three of SF1 (
Why The Need For An Offline Meeting.
A lot of things can be done online but since it happens that 3/4 of SF1 are residing in Akwa Ibom, I believed a physical meeting would allow us to know each other better and foster collaboration among the team leaders. 
What Options Are There For Those Who Are Not In Nigeria.
Since members of Steemjet are spread around the globe, we'll stream a live feed of the meeting on our Steemjet discord channel. Everyone should join the voice channel and participate in the meeting. Whatever we discuss will be broadcasted live and those who are not physically present can put in their opinions through discord.

What Are To Be Discussed?
Among other issues, we'll talk about the following
the vision of Steemjet (global Steem adoption) and how to achieve this.
Departments that are really necessary to help us achieve this vision.
projects to embark on to ensure we reach out to everyone on earth about Steem
getting content creators for our
account (what kind of content will we post here, and who can make posts here)
funding for approved departments and projects.
In light of this, discussion on issues of funding for any department is put on hold for now till after the meeting. We have received tons of proposals from different departments. We'll look through all of them to see which really needs funding and fund such. I want to encourage us to look more at what we can do for the community and funding should be secondary. Community first, money second.

The meeting will hold on Sunday, May 27th 2018 at Food Affairs, Ikot Ekpene Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State by 3PM Nigerian time (2pm GMT). As mentioned above, live audio feed will be broadcasted on our discord server, and the opinions of others not present will be considered.
