Powering-up has been in my day-in and day-out work here in steem platform, in-fact I have no history of powering-down but I did sold some during when the steem price was in its better times which was too long ago that I cannot remember anymore. I did sold some too a few weeks ago just for my debit card to lose its activation but I might sell some liquid steem in the coming days because my money is all but dried-up already.
It is just a painful thing to sell steem at these ridiculously crazy low prices but that is crypto and since I cannot do anything about it I might as well use my steem as intended but in an unplanned way because I was really hoping that I might use my steem for my surgeries and now that plan might fly away from oblivion because of the said low price.
But the amount of my steem is already big but not big enough for my surgeries although I haven't gone to the specialist yet which I fear would turn me off because of my body's sandwiched complication they call as "comorbidities."
The extended bear market got me and caught me red-handed or should I say "off-guard" because of some factors unbeknownst to us like market manipulations, the trap of the BAKKT which is not really a BTC backed trading platform that just artificially inflates the price of BTC or at least that is what I have learned and so it affected all altcoins leading to the losses of "weak hands."
But as strong as I want my hands to be I can never do that due to financial constraints which will soon lead me to just cashing out but with my steem power getting the last beating of my demise if things get financially dried-up dried-up and deathly for me.
Anyway I will still continue to power-up to support its price and give a message to everyone that if we just power-up it creates a sort of scarcity effect on steem and with the scarcity comes the demand and more demand means a more valuable the token gets. That is why precious metals are valuable because they are hard to find which is why if we make steem a bit scarce then up its value will go.
