Just finished a cool welding project with my uncle. He has a bunch of scrap metal he makes art work out of. Metal bugs, hearts and such. I saw he had some old disc plows and I asked him if he could help me build a Mexican Discada (just Discada if you are in Mexico) also known as a Mexican wok if you want to be Politico-incorrectimus.
First I took a grinder to get rid of the rust. Returning the disc to it's original shinny look.
---
After grinding the disc, my uncle welded a piece of metal to close up the center square hole. We used horse shoes for the handles. Then I grinded the disc some more to get rid of any blemishes.

Stop looking at the light! It's bad for your eyes
My uncle brought out the big grinder and showed me how to grind the weld in the center down smooth.
---
We decided to try some legs for the Discada, this would bring the Discada up off the flames when it's place over the fire. This made the Discada really heavy so I will see how it goes and decide if I want to keep the legs.

Now all I need to do is test it out. Stay tuned for pictures of the Discada cookout! Comment below if you have any recommendations.
