Yesterday I got my starter pack for Steem Monsters. It seems that this is a necessary step for purchasing the booster packs and possibly competing in the tournaments. The starter pack came with a variety of common and rare cards including 2 summoners.
Since I had a little leftover Steem I decided I would purchase a booster pack. In the pack was one rare card. This made me wonder if it would be better to buy more packs or to check out the monster market.
I looked on the monster market and found a good variety of cards at a decent price. After doing some math, it seemed to me that purchasing cards from the market would be the best thing at this point.
I was able to finish my collection of common, rare, and most of the epic cards with the rest of my funds. The Mermaid, Naga Warrior, and Enchantress were pretty cute so I recruited them to my team. The Defender looks like he will be useful, and also the Magi. I know my fire team will be the best, but I will need some help from the other colors too.
The community of monster summoners is amazing, and I keep making new friends every day. Thanks to all the live streamers for all of the fun giveaways!
