As quite rightly mentions, this season has been tough, I mean so much so that I have thought to ditch the game completely.

It is as though literally EVERYONE besides me has levelled up their summoners at least one or two levels as well as the monster cards.
My Death splinter deck which was kicking arse last season is now average at best against all these other more highly levelled decks that are coming my way.
The Daily Quest which was taking me 10 minutes to complete due to continued repeated wins on my preferred splinter has been taking up to an hour, and I am starting to question myself about whether I am enjoying this or is it another form of repetitive work.
‘Don’t miss the DQ’
‘Your missing out on free cards’,... are the words spinning in my mind.
I’m holding my own in the lower ranks of the Gold league, whereas last season it was the Diamond league. Many players must have levelled up OR they have all been pushed down due to the de-levelling system that happens post season end.
I had the good fortune to meet several evenings ago who very quickly dispatched me with a ridiculously strong Selenia Skybreaker driven deck.
I guess he was trying to level up and not do the Daily Quest. Thanks mate 😊
The Water Splinter appears to be stronger than before, and even my old nemesis the Life Splinter is giving me a hard time.
That was all until yesterday when something changed. I got my Daily Quest and was fortunate enough for it to be Death (my strongest deck). Ten minutes later I was looking at my rewards.
The opponent strength had reduced; it was like it never happened. Still I'm just about in the Gold league and will have to try and get a little higher before the season ends.
Is this the repeating occurrence; don’t bother until a few days before the end of season? I’m wondering if this happens every season
Being slow on the uptake to Steem Monsters, I don’t have the experience to answer this question. What are your opinions on the current season and what has happened?
The game will need to constantly evolve if it is going to succeed. This means new cards, new tactics and challenges. I hope there is more to come.
