I've been posting a lot about recently, so if that's not your cup of tea, I apologize. I tend to post on what is happening in my life, so when I'm silvering, that's what you see, when I'm Steem Monstering, that's what you get. Hopefully a dumptruck of cash gets poured on my driveway today so I can buy out the LCS and show off new coins for days.
Here's a screenshot of part of my battle log. The newest ones are at the top, and the older ones at the bottom. I don't have a picture of the first 10 battles, but it wasn't pretty.
As you can see, I haven't been winning a lot. There's a learning curve, and I'm still figuring it out. I've never been great at this type of game, but Steem Monsters adds a level of complexity that makes it even more challenging at times.
One of the things that has been most confusing for me is that not all of a player's monsters will attack each turn. I don't know how the game decides who attacks, but I think it's at least partially based off of speed, and only the quickest get to attack.
I'm also not sure why certain monsters will attack the monster they do. Ones with "sneak" or "snipe" will attack monsters farther back in the lineup, but I'm not sure how to determine which they will attack.
It has been challenging thus far, but I'm planning on continuing to try different strategies and see if I can at least get good enough that I feel like I have a fighting chance.
Are you playing Steem Monsters?
