MY LOVE FOR STEEMIT - Celebrating 2 years....HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEEMIA...

So Steemit is two years and I cannot but be excited. I joined this amazing platform on the 28th of October 2017, and looking back at how far I have come, I don't regret any moment of my experience here..

Memories and flashbacks all over my brain right now and am so over-joyed. My Steemit Community has contributed immensely to my succeding here on the platform (I dont like to say success, because I haven't gotten to where I wan to be yet, this is only the beginning!).

THE STEEMIT UYO COMMUNITY

With consequent meetups and a Stach hub courtesy of Hive account@ejemai, the love radiating in my community is amazing... Its the kind of love I like to refer to as selfless.

I remember my birthday last year which was on the 9th of December. I had a photoshot with a few friends courtesy of our very own Hive account@ishotz but then i had to postpone the celebration till the 16th of December which was the date scheduled for our meetup in the community just so I could get to share my cake with my fellow steemians.. Such Love!!!

That's right, I had my very own steemit Cake!!

The feeling was so amazing!. It was the first of its kind ever and I was so proud of myself.
It's something I had never done before, but I did it because I love Steemians and Steemit as a whole..
From that point I realized the effect my love for Steemit had for me, and I looked for an avenue to show more steem-love with my earnings from Steemit...

And Voila!....THE FETCH INITIATIVE!

With the help of my partners and friends, Hive account@bundis10 and Hive account@giftessiet, I was able to show more steem-love to the community even outside the Steemit ecosystem through the FETCH INITIATIVE.

The very first reachout of the FETCH INITIATIVE, was held on the 3rd of February 2018, THE FETCH CREW had steemians in attendance as we visited the Government Children's Home, reaching out to the poor orphans. Hive account@ejemai, Hive account@nairadaddy, Hive account@datibomchic, Hive account@annieben, Hive account@enoye, Hive account@evelyniroh, Hive account@samstickkz, Hive account@elizabethscarlet were present and it was so amazing...to realize that Steemit is doing what the government is not.. Now that's AMAZING!.
