So today I started to browse on Partiko and a pop up ad appeared for a few seconds.
I've got a fairly extreme position, I know, but I hate ads. I never view them unless absolutely necessary, and I'm willing to invest some money if it keeps me from having to waste time on ads and be influenced by them.
Fortunately, there is a great alternative, namely switching to use Steempeak on my phone. I had discovered Partiko before I discovered Steempeak, and the former was a smoother experience on mobile at the time. However, has kept up great quality of life improvements, while the biggest changes to Partiko have been ads.
As an Android user, I think the choice is an easy one: use the cutting edge client I use on desktop that has now grown mature enough in its mobile design to be seamless as a transition, or keep using an app that pushes ads and doesn't have as many features.
Yes, Partiko has a loyalty points system, but from what I've heard this has generally had a negative, rather than a positive effect on the blockchain. In any case, the votes Partiko gives aren't enough to make it worth sticking with.
