Cebu Taoist Temple is one of the main attractions of Cebu. Local and foreigners visit the temple in the afternoon. As you get there, not so big parking space allocated for the visitor's services and motorcycles as well.
You are entering the sacred and temple place so please observe the silence, solemnity and peace while the devotees perform the rituals and meditations. This kind of ritual include dropping of two kindney shaped blocks of woods. If the blocks of wood are both face up upon reaching the floor it means once can make a wish. If not, it means it is not yet for one's wish to be granted and needs to come back again in the temple.
Here is the challenge; before reaching the peak of the temple, the devotees or visitors have 181 steps which represents the 81 chapters of Taoism scriptures. Sounds tiring?? Well, going up the stairs quiet tiring but with good company is worth it.
Inside the temple includes chapel, library, souvenirs and wishing well. It has a spacious balcony to view the scenic beauty of the Cebu City.
