Graphic design is an important tool that enhances how you communicate with other people. It serves to convey your ideas in a way that is not only effective, but also beautiful.
A week ago, after going to the first SteemPh Meet-up Caravan in Malolos, Bulacan, I have noticed the banner used for the said event. It is simple yet straight to the point, but I thought that it was too bare and could need some improvements.
The Steemit Philippines Meet-up Caravan is an initiative of

and front-runnered by

. The project's aim is to go and inform Filipinos from different provinces in the Philippines about the benefits of Steemit and give knowledge on how it works as well as the different projects involved in it.
Since I admire the dedication of the two persons, and
, behind this awesome philantrophy project. I have thought that I wanted to do whatever I can to help, even if its as little as making them a new banner for their caravan. With these things in mind and with their kind permission, I then proceeded to revamp the said banner.
Designing a Banner for the Caravan
I used a similar model of the camping van but made it look more Filipinoish by adding the blue and red colors as well as the stars and the sun which represents the Filipino flag. And becuase it is literally a caravan, I then set it as the main attraction of the layout.
I also included the two logos that is prominent on the old design and added a photo that I have googled (don't worry, it is free to use based on its creative commons license) which pretty much represents everything that is the Philippines and set it as the background.
