After the successful and wonderful meet up of Steemit-UAE Family held in Abu Dhabi another meet up is scheduled in Dubai on 11th of May 2018. This gathering is for Steemit members who are based in Dubai, Sharjah and for those who were not able to attend the last time.
As much as I have looked forward to this event, I might not be able to join my Steemit UAE Family since I am to undergo an operation on May 8, 2018. The meeting is on the 11th , which is only 3 days after the surgery making it quite hard for me to be present on that day. So, to show my Steemit UAE Family support , I decided to look for possible locations with 
Its almost May , therefore we only have 2 weeks to finalize everything. Its hard to accomplish things at the very last minute so after eating our dinner , we spent the entire time looking for a possible location.
Here are the places we've checked:
1. Marina Seafood Restaurant
We often drop by this restaurant because they have good Filipino dishes being sold at a fair price. This place is also known for selling one of the best Shawarma's in Al Rigga. They also cater to customers who want to celebrate birthdays in an exclusive area accompanied by a karaoke as entertainment. So we thought this might be a good option. -----The place was nice however the offer was higher than our expected amount.
2.King's Park Hotel
This place was recommended by one of my friends . Upon checking the place I didn't quite find it pleasant because the building is old the and the location is not that accessible .
3.Flora Grand Hotel (Dagat Dagatan restaurant)
The last stop was actually the best among the 3 places that we visited . There are a lot of food selection from starters to main course and desert.
There was also a live station serving various food like kwek kwek ,inihaw na isaw and you can also make your own halo halo which is very nice , it gives you a homey feeling that you are somehow in the Philippines.
Another good thing about this place aside from the food is the accessibility and the price they offer. When I spoke to the manager of the restaurant he also offered the meeting room which can be used for free.
