Steemphnegros first meet-up in Dumaguete City Negros Oriental

March 31, 2018 was the schedule of our first steemphnegros meet-up in Dumaguete City Negros Oriental. In Bethel Guest hotel with in the city proper and in front of the boulevard.

I was invited to come and do some discussions about crypto currency. I am from Bacolod City 7 hours away from the venue, which it takes a lot of time before we finally met. Actually I'm on vacation since March 27 and I need to travel from San Carlos City 4 hours going to Bacolod and I took the 4 am bus trip, then transfer bus going to Dumaguete
from 8 in the morning and reach the city proper of Dumaguete at 3:30 PM. Imagine I travel 11 hours and a half before
we had our first huddle. My desire to meet them is higher than a very long trip, so it won't matter.

The program should start at exactly 6:00 in the evening, since we encountered issues with our venue and some technical problem with our computer. Still we successfully deliver our reports and to edify existing steemians most especially for the non-member yet.

I prepared a video presentation about crypto currency and explain it in " Taglish " for them to easily grasp the ideas. I am not expert when it comes to crypto currency, but I read a lot of articles including the white paper about crypto, watched videos where I can visualized what really is all about, and I observed how the crypto currency works.

I also discussed about steem, steem power, SBD and share little ideas about steemit platform. Where Hive account@bobiecayao had prepared a presentation about the steemit . He discussed how to use the platform and how to make a post, upvote, and resteeming post.

The final report was delivered by Hive account@flabbergast-art as he discussed about his advocacy to promote the walk of hope project. Including the kawayan or bamboo planting in the city of Bayawan. He also tell us how the project will work and what are their plans together with tatay Dagsa for the upcoming days, weeks, months or even years.

He also share to us some of his experience during his travel going to Dumaguete. When was about not to take his flight because of over baggage at the airport. In God's grace he was able to come together with us in our event.

After the meet-up that night Hive account@flabbergast-art and I bring our staffs at the pension house where we are staying in a same room. Then we went out after Hive account@bobiecayao fetch us from the white knights house.

We decided to walk from the pension house going to the boulevard and we eat tempura, squid and balut. Hive account@bobiecayao and Hive account@flabbergast-art ate the ordered balut.

We walk around within the boulevard while taking some pictures. We stay their for almost 2 hours and decided to go back at the pension house. Because I feel so tired that night due to sleep deprived and lack of rest from my morning trip.

After we reach the pension house and enter to our room. I take a bath and changed my clothes, then while sitting on the bed. I didn't notice I fell asleep.
