It's World Cup Season and I headed down to an Irish Pub in town to watch the Mexico vs Sweden game. I don't normally drink alcohol, or beer, so this isn't the kind of bar I would usually visit.
I bought a Karhu beer which cost 5.50 euros, recommended by my friends. It's a Finnish brand beer, and I would say that the taste is closer to Heineken than Tiger, not that I know anything more than basic about them. It just tastes like beer.

Take a look at the sunlight shining in from outside. It looks like daytime drinking isn't it. In actual fact, because it's now Summer time, it's bright the entire day, so this is actually taken at around 7-8pm. But still rather early for drinking yea?
I'm really not a fan of beer or alcohol in general, so I'm only trying it as an experience.
it's been 4 months since I've cut my hair, it's so long now!
Not sure what to make of the taste, and my expression after drinking it.
There were a few other customers watching the match, and it seemed like everyone was against Germany getting through. I didn't expect Sweden to win by 3-0, but I felt that Germany let this great opportunity of Goal Differences slip. I was anticipating Drama on the German side with another last minute goal, but other forms of drama came from that match with Korea winning 2-0 in injury time, so that was still quite interesting.
We shared one glass of Karhu. My next beer probably wont come so soon.
PS: My Irish professor thinks that the name is weird, and some of the traditional music played there is in fact, offensive to Irish. Interesting.
