Now this is not an ordinary Ford Mustang that you always see on the street, well maybe Mustang is not ordinary to me. What I'm trying to describe is that this one right infront of my eyes is actually the Ford Mustang by Shelby, a GT350, some even named it just Shelby GT350. Trust me this is one rare beast.
When I first heard about Shelby after watching "Gone in 60 seconds" with Nicolas Cage driving the Shelby GT500 Eleanor, I was wondering why Ford Mustang became Shelby. I was 8 years old that time, so figured out is it the reason like Acura and Honda due to regional differences.
At the end no, Shelby is actually originated from Carroll Shelby, a fascinating automotive designer and also a race driver. He first started off as Shelby American Inc back in the 62's, which is now known as Carroll Shelby International.
So what's so special about this Shelby GT350? This car is powered by a 5.2L V8 engine, known as the "Voodoo". It is able to power out up to 526 horsepower and 582 Nm of torque. With this amount of power, I think rear tyre is a priority, or else you might end up slipping your tyres all the way during quick launching. Car is a little heavy, curb weight which is 1700kg++, well Mustangs are known to be heavier for their weights though.
