Fundata is located in the middle of the distance between Bran and Rucar, on the aisle, it is guarded by the Bucegi Mountains and the Piatra Craiului Mountains.
In the vicinity of Fundata you can visit numerous natural attractions: Piatra Craiului National Park - Piatra Craiului Trails, Zarnesti Gorge, Gorge of Moieciu, Gorge Gradistei, La Chișătoare Natural Reservation, Dambovicioara Cave and Gorges, Pestera Bats Cave.
