Meredhit: What do you think that meant?!
Visca: It doesn't matter Meredhit just runs!
The mountain brought with it new dangers with every step they took: carnivorous plants, giant insects and a kind of winged creature that fluttered everywhere stalking whoever crossed their path.
Meredhit: So what do we do now?
Visca: I don't know. We must get to the tower and get the crystal, it was the old man's order. Shit if only I had more arrows!
Meredhit: We can still use the swords.
Ciel: Sorry to interrupt your obvious analysis of the situation but that thing is coming back! Get out of here!
The three ran quickly through the forest and stood just below the entrance to the tower. The old man of the tribe had asked them to bring a treasure that was hidden in that place, which, according to ancient writings, would bring with it a power capable of ending the attacks of any enemy, and in this case, of the Beltron empire that day by day seized more lands around the continent.
Ciel: That thing seems to cycle on its flight, when I give you the signal I want you to go upstairs to that tower. We only have one chance.
Meredhit: We'll get in, Ciel! Don't think we'll leave you here!
Visca: The kid wants to be the hero.
Ciel: Shut up Visca! There is no time.
That winged monster once again flew over the place and Ciel meanwhile waited for the exact moment to give the signal to her companions who were already on one of the pillars near the entrance to the tower.
Ciel: Now!
They both ran quickly and when they were already inside that place they watched as Ciel ran non-stop as the thing flew in its direction.
Visca: Hurry up, Ciel!
Meredhit: Run! It's coming!
Ciel climbed up the stairs and jumped into the building. The creature retreated into the air and with its tail hit the entrance of the tower causing a great collapse that destroyed the main staircase.
Ciel: That was close.
Meredhit: We can't come back here anymore.
Visca: We'll see how to get out later. Let's go.
The inside of the tower received a lot of light from the outside to be in such a high area, likewise could be observed various torches lit in many parts of the place.
Meredhit: Do you think anyone's here?
Visca: I don't think so. The old man said that this place had some sort of mystical power. Maybe that will keep these torches burning.
Ciel: If it wasn't for that stupid old man, we wouldn't be in this situation.
Visca: He never forced us. I remember you were the first to jump to propose your name.
Ciel: What's your problem?!
Meredhit: Calm down, you two!
Ciel: Tsss... It doesn't matter, we have to go on. Let's go up there.
The tower was followed floor by floor with the same pattern: a spiral staircase that surrounded the entire interior of the building and large windows that let you see the cloudy and dark sky of that mountain.
Meredhit: How many floors have we gone up?
Ciel: Six or seven. I don't know the truth. Damn, all floors are the same.
Visca: The treasure is most likely on top of the tower. Remember the light we saw?
Meredhit: You're right!
Ciel: That reddish glow looked very strange, what worries me is how to get out of here with that creature flying so low in the forest.
Visca: We'll see what we can do with it.
They climbed fifteen floors up to a very long passageway, in the background one could glimpse what looked like an exit to the top of the tower, from which a reddish glow emanated constantly from that place accompanied by strong winds from the outside.
Ciel: What's next?
Meredhit: I'm a little scared but we're already at this point.
Visca: All we have to do is cross that corridor and what I'm looking for will be found at the bottom.
Ciel: You mean what we're looking for.
Visca: Sure. Let's move on.
Visca walked to the front but for some reason their way of being changed as they approached the end of that search. Meredhit and Ciel observed each other for a moment looking for answers to their companion's attitude but neither of them understood exactly what was going on, after that they walked after Visca and continued along that corridor.
Visca: We're here.
The light entered that place from the open surface of the tower, while in its center a huge pillar made room up to the heights and in his forehead a bright light flashes as if it were the beating of a heart.
Meredhit: Unbelievable!
Ciel: If that's the treasure, I don't know how we won't carry them so big.
Visca: I found you.
Ciel: I'm surprised you still attribute all the work to your single Visca.
Visca: You've been calling me. I'm here now.
Meredhit: Visca?
Ciel: Listen as we speak, woman!
As he approached her, Ciel realized that something strange was happening to her. Visca's eyes were completely white, and a strange light much like the one on the pillar could be seen protruding from them.
Meredhit: Visca!
Ciel: She's not reacting. Visca awake!
Visca: When we are one, the beginning of the end will reawaken.
Ciel: What the hell are you talking about Visca?! Ah!
Meredhit: Oh, my God! Are you okay?!
Ciel's hand was burned by contact with the skin of Visca who meanwhile began to walk to that pillar in the center of the tower. His body gave off a transparent vapor and the pillar began to create shapes and symbols that covered the whole width and length of the tower.
Visca: Kai sore mirsh.
Meredhit: What's wrong with you?
Ciel: She seems to be in a trance Meredhit.
Meredhit: What do we do?
Ciel: Look what happened to me when I touched it. I'm afraid that if we get closer, worse things could happen to us.
Meredhit: Visca...
Visca was possessed by the energy contained in that pillar while, step by step, she approached it until she found herself in front of it.
Visca: Kha os.
The wind hit hard from the sky and an incandescent glow made its way around. After this, Visca absorbed into his body a black mist that came out from the inside of the pillar. Silence was present in less than a second and now everything seemed to be covered with complete darkness, except in that tower where a former human presence, now underworld, meditated tied to a life of tempest.
Visca I'm all and none at the same time. I exist in a plane in which I listen to the lament of the souls and the sweet voice of the newcomers. The world generates its equilibrium from my entrails. Look at me as a simple human god. Think wisely before you act, or else your coming destruction will be. Khaos:
