Hello friends of Steemit! It is an honor for me to publish again in this new week, the first of September, since I do it with a beautiful Venezuelan waltz, which belongs to my favorite repertoire of folklore. This song is called "Lluvia" and its authorship belongs to Luis Guillermo Sánchez (1913 - 1969).

This waltz is not any Venezuelan song, thanks to the great tenor Alfredo Sadel, this jewel of folklore is recognized even internationally, since he was one of the first to interpret and record it when he was at the peak of his success.
Luis Guillermo Sánchez was a great musician who ventured into both the academic world and commercial music. One of the most remembered and performed songs of this Zuliano is the successful "Soy Venezolano", pride of our nation. I used this video during week 97 of the Open Mic and without a doubt, it made me very happy to pay this small tribute through my participation in that contest.

As always, I thank all those who read my posts, watch my videos and listen to my interpretations. Your support is the most wonderful and motivating thing that has happened to me since I came to Steemit and Open Mic, it really is a beautiful community that motivates us to continue participating every week.
