Summary
Steem is the cryptocurrency for the community. As a Steem user, you can get rewarded by posting and upvoting valuable content for others. Steem draws much of its success from the Reddit model, where the community greatly helped enrich the shareholders. Steem helps distribute the rewards to the community members who are involved in helping create the community in the first place. This cryptocurrency also provides various services to its members, including curated news, Q&A pages, job boards, and more. The founders of Steem came from BitShares and enlisted the help of Dan Larimer as well.
