Many minnows on Steemit post great articles all of the time. A very large number of these posts don't even make it to the surface of Steemit. They get about 15 or so up-votes, then die off, never to be seen again! This has happened to me several times when I first started posting on Steemit. It happens a lot more than one would expect. I'm sure that steemers will be surprised to find out how many amazing posts can be dug up from the depths of Steemit!
The following is a pitch to the Steem Sharks.
Forgotten Steem will be a series of posts that allow users to submit their forgotten posts in the comment section. The top several posts will be featured in the following Forgotten Steem post. There will be a few rules:
- The post cannot be recent
- The post cannot already be successful
This will not only give you minnows a chance to redeem a low payout; it will give you some of the recognition that you deserve as a writer on Steemit.

I have already emailed my pitch, but I decided to do this little promo for a bit of Steemit visualization. If this idea doesn't get picked up by the Steem Skarks, I may just decide to pursue this on my own. Please up-vote this if you want this series to happen. My posts don't get a whole lot hype on their own.
