Hi guys!
So I finally bit the bullet, bought some gear and silver to melt.
To tell you the truth I was quite scared of using the torch. And before my first pour the only other time I used a torch before was to glaze the crucible, as per instructions I received via a 'Skully's corner' video! :}
but no matter how daunting the torch was to me the attraction to pour my own silver overcame the fear.
I have watched countless hours of pouring videos on you tube, mostly Mr Zeke, Mr and Mrs Vulcan, Pit bullion, Hi ho, The bear and Ag Ender, all the Metals Mafia guys really!!. The fun these guys seemed to have when pouring was a big draw to me, and the art they produced was fantastic, I just had to try it out for myself! and so I did!
