Ok Steemit, it is almost midnight where I live and dammit I AM gonna post today!
I have really fallen off the wagon lately. What can I say? Lazy... busy... nothing to say... tired... Probably all four.
So what has been happening?
Today work was kind of killing me. What I do is not complex nor is it brain surgery. However, some days the details are such that you really have to concentrate to keep everything moving along. Today was some kind of combo of juggling and piecing together a puzzle. So no steeming from #thecube for me.
At about 5:00 my office emptied out for the day. Instead of going home like the rest of the crew, I put up Halloween decorations. Somehow I have hosted the office Halloween Party for the past five years. It is fun, but time consuming. We have a big potluck. I go mad with decorations. There are costumes and prizes for various things like best themed food. Tomorrow night there will be more decorating.
Silver
After work I was excited to see a package had arrived for me from APMEX. It contained SEVEN pieces of silver (though only three were for me). The other four are for a buddy. One of these was a Memento Mori 2oz silver round.
How ridiculously hot is this round? Like I said, it is 2oz and 6mm thick with a reeded edge. The round was produced by Intaglio Mint.

After the silver porn, it was time to start baking cake and making soup from scratch. At 9pm.... 😐

I have to bring something edible to my office potluck. My husband’s work is also having a Halloween potluck. So, tonight was food prep night.
Red velvet cake that will become a brain cake and butternut squash soup.
And now it is almost 12:30. Waaaaaaaay past my bedtime. I need to sleep so I can wake up again in 5 hours.... 😑
