The last few days i was looking online to find a good price for ordering a 1 oz silver eagle dollar.
At first i was disappointed because shipping costs are very high in Norway. Shipping silver up to 5000 grams costs 159 Nok to send (17 usd/16 euro).
Fortunately Tavex.no has the option of picking up silver coins at their location at the heart of Oslo (Karl Johans gate 1).
This is like 20 meters from the metro and train station. Very convenient! The ''shop'' is actually to Forex booths behind a glass. A polite lady asked for my order. When i asked for a silver eagle she got it for me in a few seconds. I had not pre-ordered, but this kind of popular coins are probably always available over the counter.
The silver coin i received is a 2019 1 oz silver eagle. The coin comes in a plastic capsule and is accompanied by a nice little pouch with tavex's logo on it. SIlver coins price varies of course. The cost for it today was 193 nok (21.2 usd/19.5 euro).
There is a discount if one buys over 20/100/500 pieces. The coin is of course beautiful!
