Be your own Central Bank

Years ago, I was told by someone wise, "be your own central bank, buy gold and silver"

Well, today, I was my own central bank. I had to free up some cash to buy a bed, pay some bills etc. So I sold 20 oz silver and 1.5 oz gold

But I didn't leave the coin store with nothing but currency, I spotted a cool OPM bar and bought that.

It's a sweet little bar.

But anyway, I was able to buy a proper bed, put a grand on a MasterCard, and have a bit of walking around money, until things straighten out.

And I got a burrito and street corn, and am enjoying that with an IPA.

So there's a real life example of what I was told years ago.
