I've had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with alot of people that handpour silver. I love the look and feel of handpoured items.
The texture, pour marks and character are just so cool and it's great to have some in the stack.
Ofcourse there's big industrial mints that offer handpoured items such as Atlantis Mint. But their items are often poured by machines and not truly handpoured as I think it should be.
There's something special, almost intimate about a man melting and pouring silver by hand. Often the items are totally different than anything you can find on the retail silver market.
I showed a couple items the other day poured by a gentleman that crafts silver bars in his garage. Hes also a fellow YouTuber who I'm trying to convert to Steemit. Vulcan5678.
It's not his primary occupation it's a hobby and a labour of love. Check out the video he made of himself pouring me a few items..
Wicked cool stuff! Now here's a short video of me opening another one of his items. I ended up buying the other "Gator Bar" he poured in the video above..
Unbelievably shiny and cool! Let me know what you guys think?
