The Johnson Matthey Challenge : My two cents.

Okay Hive account@thedamus since the HF20 issue is now on the rear view mirror I can get a posting fix since I missed my #piratesunday window so let's make this short and sweet!

My only Vintage Johnson Matthey bar is this 5 ozT 0.999 fine silver bar with less than 25,000 Variety A made. This is compliments of my father's wisdom as a keepsake piece after he made a nice killing in the Silver Price spike back in the 80's before I was just a twinkle in his eye. He said he bought at $15/oz sold at $45/oz! He had at least one 100 oz bar, can you say "JACKPOT!"

He eventually bought a nice car to court Mom in the back seat. 🚙 Mom insists that 'she married him and not the car.' Talk about your Butterfly effect. Next are my own acquisitions of a pair of Johnson Matthey 1 ozt 0.999 fine Silver bars. The first one was a bit of an overpriced purchase from eBay while the second one was acquired at a local show at a much better price.

And looking at the back side we have the Standard JM logos indicating these as Variety B bars.
