eos.detroit Meet-Up

I attended my first EOS meet-up in Detroit last evening. It was an interesting event, I learned a few things and I'm even more excited about the EOS project than ever before. The event was hosted by eos.detroit and Hive account@robrigo in downtown Detroit. I'm pretty sure I was the 1st or 2nd oldest guy in the room and one of my main take-a-ways is how young the people behind this technology really are. As I was driving home, I couldn't help but think about the coming monetary reset and what that will look like. I'm not sure if these kids will want, get behind or even care about Gold & Silver backing money once the dollar collapses...but that is a topic for another day.

The main presenter was Chadrick Mahaffey and he presented his vision of where EOS could go as well as a project he is working on called SFEOS. SFEOS is a blockchain turn-based strategy game similar to others some of us played as kids like risk or D&D where players earn crypto for playing and completing tasks in the game. Its a very interesting concept that could go viral, especially in the blockchain community, similar to Clash of Clans or Angry Birds.

I am Lord Hive account@matthewwarn and I have Stackitis...but there are worse problems to have in life...usually it flares up over a lack of stacking silver...sometimes, its EOS related.
