The obverse again gives us a look at a crowned and veiled Queen Victoria looking to the left with the words VICTORIA DEI GRA BRITT REG (Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the British territories) .
The reverse of this coin shows a crowned quartered shield in the collar of the Order of the Garter with the legend FID·DEF·IND·IMP (Defender of the Faith, Empress of India) on the top and HALF CROWN divided by the Year (1900) below
