Every now and then over the last three weeks I have thought to myself, you know, I really need to go post on Steem. Then I don't do it.
It isn't that I don't have good content I could share. I've got photos from a trip to Washington DC, I have my silver display case full and never talked about that, I've got a kid who just started 7th grade. Lots of stuff I could talk about.
But at the end of the day, Steem doesn't have the appeal that it used to. I can easily stay away.
I don't see that changing anytime soon either. Despite the Hooplah team of Steemit Inc putting up these posts about onboarding the masses, I am in "I'll believe it when I see it" mode. Call me a Doubting Thomas if you will, but we've got a two year track record of things not going the way Stinc says it is going, so I think skepticism is justified.
With that said, I am going to remove my delegations this evening to all services I have issued delegations to, they are all delegations for votes, and while I love my crew over at #steemsilvergold I need to find a more profitable use of my SP since I am not posting.
So here's what I am proposing to any #SSG members out there who are paying for their Gold membership in Liquid Steem. I will lease my delegation to you for 45 STEEM a month and transfer my vote to you through the powers that be in SSG. I'd love to do this to keep the Steem Power with the SSG, but if no one wants my vote, then I will be using my Steem Power to fill some lease requests over on Minnowbooster.
This is by no means a good bye. I am still going to be around. I just don't see myself feeling the need to post on a regular basis. So there we are....
