Good Morning Everyone I hope you are having a great day! These photos are of my tiny poured silver collection that i have collected over the past year. As much as i love hand poured i dont have much because on a small budget im all about getting the most weight for my money to help establish my small stack. But whenever i see it at a good price i cant resist. I have experimented pouring my own silver, in which i get really inspired by natural organic texture. Iv'e got several more ideas that i will be trying soon :)
This post is my entry into 's contest for the #steemsilvergold community
'Show us Your Poured Silver'. Other participants in the contest are
and many more.
These first photos are of sterling silver pieces that i poured at home.
These four pieces were cast into seaweed as a mold.
Sterling isn't easy to pour because it cools much faster than .999
The leathery Seaweed produces a really cool textured, cratered surface.
More experiments with casting natural texture, the ones either side were cast on cuttlefish.
This nuggety piece was cast into a thick blanket of moss.
Some quarter oz pieces of eight skull buttons, 8g each.
25g Plata Muerta 'dead silver' rounds by David Yeager at YPS.
I have a bit of a thing for skulls want to keep adding skulls to my collection.
My favourite 'pressie' i couldnt resist this one it is so unique with its micro engravings.
Silverbugs in Space 1oz bar a top quality piece :)
