1963 Voyageur Canadian Silver Dollar

I've recently moved way up north and am now living much closer to the border with Canada. I also haven't posted any silver for awhile and I thought to break the silver silence and honor my new neighbors to the north I'd share this shiny silver dollar.

I picked this up at an antique shop just a few weeks ago. It was a fun find and I was happy to grab it... and pay for it. It's a 1963 Canadian Silver Voyageur Dollar featuring Elizabeth II. The coin is 80% Silver I believe and has a nice slightly rounded reeded edge. Enjoy!

And one with George for scale. These Canadian Silver Dollars are just a bit smaller in diameter than the US Peace Dollar or Morgan Dollars but they are every bit as cool and with that slightly rounded edge they feel great in your hand.
