Well, it's Anything Goes Friday and I usually like to do something creative today but I'm just not feeling it. I'm also sitting on two coins that I want to share... and it's Friday so ANYTHING GOES!
Yesterday I posted about 2 American Silver Eagles that I recently received in the mail from Provident Metals. Another collector () pointed out in the comments that I had to have ordered more than just those 2 coins.
It's true, I also picked up a 2018 1 oz Canadian Silver Maple Leaf. The thing is, I didn't want to post that alone or with the other 2 Silver Eagles.
The dilemma was solved today when I went digging through some boxes in storage and discovered something.
I found a 2005 1 oz Buffalo Silver Commemorative Coin among a bunch of Jefferson nickels!
I figured this would go nice with the Maple Leaf in a post and since I'm not feeling creative today, here it is.
Enjoy!
FRONT
As I mentioned, I bought the Silver Maple Leaf at Provident Metals. I ended up paying $18.06 with credit card and today they're at $18.18... Score!
The Buffalo Silver Commemorative Coin was given to me many years ago and stashed away. It was apparently put out by the United States Commemorative Gallery. I'm not at all familiar with them, but the coin itself isn't bad looking. If anyone knows anything about this mint or coin, please let me know!
BACK
EDGE
The Buffalo Coin is a little bit larger than the Maple Leaf and thus is a bit thinner which you can just barely tell from the edge.
SIZE / SCALE
That's it for today... Happy Friday!
I UPVOTE real comments, if you found value from this please consider leaving one!
