It is always interesting to look at how countries and more specific their central banks are managing their gold reserves.
The following website gives you some very nice information:
https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/gold-reserves
Not only is this website showing their goldreserves but also other kinds of macroeconomic data regarding those countries.
What we see, looking at the charts, that there are some interesting movements going on. Russia, Turkey and China (only official data which are most probably not correct) are accumulating their gold reserves.
Others are decreasing their reseves like Germany, which is kind of a surprise to me.
Others are now slowly moving upwards the last months like the US, UK, The Netherlands and India. This is peculiar because their reserves were always stabile over the last two years.
Maybe it means nothing because the increase is marginal of course, but stil.... you never know what is “cooking up” in the markets. Let see how it will play outin the near future.
Enjoy!
