Let's continue showing a small series consisting in the 10oz silver coins that I bought last June in Canada.
These massive coins are not easy to photograph, so shiny and reflexive and I am not an expert photographer...
This is the fifth coin of the Queen's Beasts series : The Black Bull of Clarence.
The coin's reverse is home to the heraldic Black Bull of Clarence, set on an impressive textured field and holding the royal arms of Edward IV, from whom this beast originated. The same arms were borne by Richard III, as well as the houses Lancaster and Tudor. Also on the reverse, we find the coin's title, as well as its purity and weight.
The obverse depicts the fifth crowned portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem.
