The coin-shop guy must have a crush on me!

So i was having a look through my blog and noticing there were simply not enough posts about epic silver lootings. To be fair, there were a few -- but just not enough for the Caramilk secret! And then my buddy Hive account@uglyboy sends me a pic text about the 20oz J&M bar and the 5oz Poured Engelhard he just picked up for generic -- whaaaaat? A 5oz poured Engelhard for generic!!!? Are you fucking kidding me? Those babies go for nearly double generic if and when you can find them!

Where? Where? Where? I asked. And so he told me: 'Canada Gold' is the parent company and they have shops all over with the name of the city there in, like: Surrey Gold, or Richmond Gold, or in my case Vancouver Gold. I had always dismissed them 'cause i thought they were just a Vampire business: buying people's PM's for super cheap and making their %...and, well, that's what they are. But they sell too! And they seemingly have no idea about collectible Ag.

So i went. And i saw. And i Conquered:
1 x 2oz Freedom girl
1 x 1oz Engelhard
5 x 1oz J&M (vintage)

8oz of the shiny for $196 cad -- that's $24.50 an ounce for what you see above (Hive account@uglyboy got his 25oz for $600, so a clean $24 for him...the rat bastard!)

Well, you know how it goes, once you get that first hit you just want more, so off i went to my fave coin shop, and here is where i really feel like i killed it. I got the "good guy" and he had already put something aside for me. (He said they had got a lot of junk in and that he had sorted out some Canadian halves for me.) and Man o Man he wasn't kidding. He brought out 3 1/2 tubes of pre-1967 fitty-cent pieces and i just had to say "SOLD!"

Here's the math:
Each coin has 0.3 of an ounce of silver.
So, 70 x 0.3 = 21 ounces
490/21 = 23.33

$23.33 per ounce! That's Mo Cheap and Mo better than generic!!!

So then my kids and my girl went to sleep and i brought out my new toys to play with -- brought out some Stella king cans too, plus a wee nip and a wee hoot! Here's a close up of the E-hard:

Then i was outside having a smoke and Steeming it up and thought a little night photography was in order, so here's a pic of Ray's super killer logo on the back of my car -- it's been through the wash already and it looks like it's on there for good!
