For the 4th and newest coin of the Egyptian God Series, I present to you Khnum. As with the rest of this series, this Ultra High Relief coin is beautiful.
Khnum was associated with the Nile River and procreation. They believed he created humanity with clay on a potters wheel. He is one of the oldest known Egyptian gods. Let's have a look at this one.
Obverse
On the Obverse of this coin you can see Khnum carving out the shape of a man. To the right of that you can see his assortment of pottery tools to do the carving.
Reverse
The reverse of this coin is familiar to all the coins in the series. It shows the iconic pyramid before a wall filled with hieroglyphs. Each one has the head of the god represented from the Obverse.
