So if you've been following this little experiment, you'll know that it all stemmed from a little challenge set, some 4 months ago:

"Ever tried going to your local supermarket and at the till offering to pay with silver??? You'd be laughed out the store... But this is exactly what your #goldmoney credit card allows you to do"
Well that's exactly what I've been doing these past few months. Going along to some of my local retailers and trying to spend a 2015, £2 silver Britannia for face value. Now if I'm honest, what I set out to do has not gone exactly to plan and has actually backfired.
So what I've decided is that giving my silver to charity would be the best thing to do. So this is the final "where can you spend a silver coin?" ☹️
So as I usually go in there and scout about for bargains, I thought it best to remain anonymous and write a simple letter explaining what it was I had given them and what it was actually worth.
So after work I went and delivered my little silver coin that I hope they can sell to raise some money.
So although it's been a blast, I'm glad it ended this way and that the britannia will be put to good use.
Thanks for following and I hope you enjoyed this little experiment.
