Music is the soul of language. - Max Heindel
I couldn't have said it any better, Max!
Music is an anchor, a link, a common sense, a bridge-builder between cultures and people - and within like-minded communities.
- the new music application project - will pay tribute to that and build a blockchain based home for musicians, producers, songwriters and music lovers.
One of these music enthusiasts is Drew Machak - - an incredibly talented singer and songwriter from Detroit (MI). If you are following us you might have seen our first video cooperation.
Now we did it again! Bundling surfer vibes, skater dynamics and groovy soul music on steemit 🎧
Surf, Skate & Soul Music 🌊🌊🌊
This time I wanted to do something different.
I asked Drew if I might use one of my favourites songs, a live cover of "Lucky" (Jason Mraz) he produced together with his girlfriend.
It's one of these songs I listen to when driving towards the beach. While the adrenaline in my blood rises, this sound totally calms me down and turns excitement into determination.
I guess everybody has these favourite songs that make their lives better no matter what.
Drew agreed on me featuring this amazing piece of art in my next video production. So I was literally LUCKY 🍀
"Lucky" by Jason Mraz is an incredible song I've been listening to always.
These lines are so beautiful:
And so I'm sailing through the sea
To an island where we'll meet
You'll hear the music fill the air
I'll put a flower in your hair
Could there've been any lyrics fitting better into my next surf video than these?
This time I decided on mixing a surfing and skating experience in one video.
Since the song is performed by a couple, I wanted to mirror the DUET composing TWO different sports activities.
So surf and skate are like a couple in harmony here.
This is actually a premiere on steemit: SURF, SKATE & SOUL music on one single tape! 🌊🌊🌊

: you asked how important are hands/arms in terms of keeping balance on the board. The sequence that starts at time stamp 2:30 min perfectly demonstrates that 😊
I hope you guys love the song as much as I do.
HERE you can watch the original version in Drew's YouTube channel.
THANK YOU, Drew! I feel absolutely blessed having had the opportunity to feature one of your songs again. And then it's been even one of my favourites! I love the perfect harmony of your voices and the feeling you transmit. What an honor presenting it today. Again, thanks for your great contribution! See ya arooooooound 😉
Now steemians, did you enjoy this piece of corporate art?
I'm repeating myself, but I can't do it often enough:
This community ROCKS (literally) 😎
So bundle your creativity, do amazing stuff together and write some history on the blockchain.
Big hugs & enjoy your Monday, steemians,
