With the Rangers already down 0-2 in the series, if they lose on Sunday they are eliminated from the Playoffs! On the other hand, the Blue Jays, are off to a super HOT start and obviously if they win on Sunday they get the sweep and get one step closer to playing in the World Series!
Note: This game will be played Saturday evening on TBS at:
4:40 PST (Pacific Time Zone)
6:40 CT (Central Time Zone)
7:40 EST (Eastern Time Zone)
Pitching Matchup for Game 3
Blue Jays: One of the two losses this season by RHP Aaron Sanchez, the AL ERA leader at 3.00, was to Texas. He gave up six runs, matching his season high, and was the loser in that May 15 game with the bench-clearing brawl after Toronto star Jose Bautista was punched by Rougned Odor.
Rangers: RHP Colby Lewis is 4-1 with a 2.38 ERA in nine career postseason games (eight starts) for Texas. In 2010, he won the AL Championship Series clincher to get the Rangers to their first World Series, and beat San Francisco in Game 3 for their only victory in that series.
Toronto Blue Jays
The Blue Jays advanced to the American League Division Series after the power-housed, Edwin Encarnacion, hit a 3 run walk off ”homer” in the bottom of the 11th inning in the AL Wildcard Game! The ”Jays” brought the Wildcard hot streak into the first two games in the Division Series.
Winning the first DS Game with a whopping score of 10-1, here is the Blue Jays box score:
As you can see, Josh Donaldson (3B), had one helluva game alongside Troy Tulowitzki (SS) and Jose Bautista (OF)!
In the second game on Friday, the Blue Jays brought home another ”W”! This one was much closer, being the score settled at 5-3. But, of course always remember that a win is a win.
Here is the Blue Jays box score for Game 2 of the DS:
In this game, Edwin (1B), Tulowitzki (SS), Pillar (OF), and Carrera (OF) all hit home runs! This is absolutely nuts! I have never seen so many home runs in a playoff game in my life! With this momentum, I really don’t see how the Blue Jays can lose!
Please Note: There is no injuries worth mentioning for the Toronto Blue Jays.
Texas Rangers
The Rangers are in a win or go home situation. In this game, they will be playing with everything they got up their sleeves. Texas will be relying on Colby Lewis to have a stellar performance and Colby must rely on the hitters to back up his performance.
Going up against the AL’s ERA Leader, the Rangers must find a way to get hits and home runs off of him. The Rangers are homer-less in the postseason thus far, they hope to break that streak on Sunday. With many power hitters on the team including: Odor (2B), Beltre (3B), Desmond (OF), and Moreland (1B) all expected to start on Sunday, they have to break out of their slump at some time and will it be on Sunday versus Aaron Sanchez?
Please Note: There is no injuries worth mentioning for the Texas Rangers.
Now it’s in your hands to decide...
Will you be choosing the Toronto Blue Jays who are on the verge of sweeping the Rangers?
Or
Will you be choosing the Texas Rangers who need the win to stay alive and will be putting up a great fight?

How to Play
Vote on the main post to enter the bet (main post rewards will also be added to the Stake Pool).
Cast your Vote Bet on ONLY ONE outcome for which you bet on for the win (Multiple comment votes will be automatically disqualified by the script, unvote and revote counts as multiple votes and will be disqualified).
After 24 hours, the post and related game comments payout to the pool; remember 25% voters rewards are deducted from the total post payout value first as per Steem curation rules. Voters are rewarded in standard fashion in proportion to their Steem Power holdings.
The Stake Pool:
The remaining 75% of the total payout is paid out in 50% Steem Power and 50% in liquid currencies, the latter now varies in payout ratio after the new fork. To make the process less complicated, we have decided to use all paid out SBD to buy Steem in the internal market to create a grand total Steem Stake Pool.
30% of the Stake Pool will be retained, of which 15% will go to the writer/sports presenter of the post, and the 15% balance towards editing, development and advertising.
70% of the Stake Pool will be held until the event/game outcome is determined.
Once the winning outcome is determined, we will execute a proprietary developed script that will divide and pay out the Steem rewards equally, using the Power Up method, to Mass Distribute SP to all participants that voted on the main post as the entrance fee as well as voted on the correct comment representing the winning outcome.
Only participants with a Reputation of 35 or more will qualify to earn SP rewards, but non-qualifiers can still vote and comment in support of the redistribution initiative.
Entry cut-off time is the earlier of the post payout or the start of the event.

in the unlikely event that when the Stake Pool is divided up between the winners and the nomenclature resolution goes below the third decimal place (example: 0.0001), then Steem decimal restrictions won’t allow a payout and the pool will carry over to the next game.
